Backyard Species Discovery Weekly Challenge

Update: These weekly challenges have now finished but you can still take part in the Backyard Species Discovery project and associated competitions!

In the lead up to National Science Week we are setting 10 weekly challenges to support our Backyard Species Discovery virtual Bush Blitz.

Each Wednesday, starting June 10, a new challenge will be posted here as well as on our Facebook, Instagram and Twitter channels.

The challenge will be open for 1 week and the winning entry will be posted here as well as on social media on the following Friday.

The winner will receive a (AUD) $30 e-voucher to Snowgum Travel and Adventurewear online store and an official Bush Blitz cap.

We encourage groups entries as well, so if you are a class, Scout/Guide or Landcare group, get together and join the challenge! There will be extra prizes for winning group entries.
