A short six day Bush Blitz was conducted on Darkwood Reserve in New South Wales during February 2010 in conjunction with the Bush Blitz Media Launch. In total, 363 species were identified on the reserve. Of these, 308 represented new records for the reserve and six are species new to science, including five species of plant bugs and one species of spider. These putative new species await formal description and publication.
