A two week Bush Blitz was conducted at Egg Islands, Flat Rock, Lower Porter Hill and Porter Hill, Murphys Flat, Seventeen Mile Plain and the Vale of Belvoir reserves during March 2010. In total, 1,197 species were identified, of which 898 had not previously been recorded at the reserves. Of these, 21 putative species new to science were discovered — these await assessment and, possibly description and publication for those confirmed as new species.
